I'm a digestive mess...

Note to self: Bring a power bar with me or money for a shake. Not only do I have the shakes now, but my heartburn is in overdrive! (ran out of Nexium)  Darn you gastrointestinal problems!  See More

Hi Adrianne,   I just spoke to our cycle instructors and they weren't aware of your frustration over the bikes - but they are now.  They will keep an eye on the situation and let members know that they can't save bikes for…

Turbo Kick...where have you gone?

I really miss Turbo Kick. Cycle was good until women started getting there at 8 in order to save bikes for the mom's who didn't there until 8:30 or later. That's a load of bs.. unfair to the rest of us if you ask me. Zumba is fun, but I really miss turbo since I can't dance. Oh well. I really need to just get back in there and do my own thing. A change up in routine might be what my body needs to kick start weightloss again, since I've come to a stand still, again. Happy Monday!See More

I was just over 300 pounds when starting training with Mandie at Commitment Fitness.  Had a lengthy meeting with Sky & Mandie about nutrition, & had lost about 10 lbs by the first training session a week later.  Now down about another 30 lbs.  Years ago I said I wanted to get down to 250, but we set the goal at 100 lbs, down to 200 within a year.  Nearly 40 lbs. in 3 months, not bad!

Goals?  Well, a half marathon in DC on March 17th and a triathlon in August to start.  The work must begin now.  I figured I'd blog the process.  This worked well when I completed the Denver Half Marathon.
